Zaiaku was, currently, walking down the street with Kodo at his side. He wearing nothing but a Yokuchi headband wrapped around his left arm and a pair of black shorts. Other than that, his body was completely bare, showing off his intense muscles. Currently, his dear son was still on the hospital being worked on, so Zaiaku decided to take a mission while he waits. He needed the money after all. Thus, here he was, walking to the mission gate yet again. Apparently, from what the mission was detailing, some raiders were causing trouble in the southern parts of the desert. Thus, they called on him to deal with them, given his success with Chikushou. Nonetheless, he wasn't very estatic. Matter of fact, he was tired beyond all belief. However, he knew he didn't have a choice in it and had to do it. Armed only with his machete at his side, he pressed onward, going to the village gate to find a man with a horse-drawn caravan. Upon seeing Zaiaku, he waved and gestured him inside the small vehicle as he mounted the horse. Looking at Kodo then back at the man, he nodded and entered the cramp space, Kodo following behind him, the horse began running out into the desert to their location.

The interior was....cramped to say the least. Though it housed a single table with two chairs, it was so small that even with sitting down on the floor, Zaiaku had very limited space to move, not counting the fact there was a five foot hyena next to him, taking even more space. Nonetheless, being uncomfortable inside of a caravan was the least of Zaiaku's problems currently. His son was in the hospital and one of his friend's is dead. Top it all off, the fate of Espi is still unknown. However...he feels that this was her fault. Her doing. Not entirely sure why, he sighed. There was no time to think about it now. He was on a mission, and a rather deadly one at that. As if noticing his discomfort, Kodo licked Zaiaku's hand, wagging his tail as his master looked at him. Zaiaku couldn't help but smile at his friend's attempt to cheer him up, thus, petted him lightly on the head. He knew the only one who could explain to him what happened. Thus, he could only hope his poor little boy pulled through. It wasn't long until they came to a halt, knowingly exiting the vehicle and approaching the driver. "This is a far as I can bring ya." Said the man to the duo, with Zaiaku simply nodding in response. "You're stayin' here, right?" The giant asked the man. "Yeah, suppose to bring ya back when you're done with the mission. The raider's built their huts over there." The man said, pointing to his left. Zaiaku and Kodo looked, just now noticing the landscape. While it was desert, there numerous rock formations and ledges and lower levels even made with stone. It seemed to be man-made. "A'ight then....be right back." With that, the duo began walking to their destination. Jumping down into a lower level, they noticed that the ledges around them made a sort of miniature valley, while the various large rock formations made for good scouting and recon spots. Noting this, the giant decided to be a bit more quiet as he continued to walk, looking for the raiders. It wasn't until he smelled smoke that he was sure that they close. Making Kodo trod carefully, the duo moved and eventually stood a rock formation, trying to find out where the smoke was coming from. It was then that he saw some dark fumes in the sky. Having found where they were, the duo jumped down and made their way to their camp, hoping to catch them by surprise.

The duo slowly and cautiously crept behind a rock near the camp, looking out of the top of the top of it. There were numerous men, about fifthteen in all, walking about the area. Drinking, yelling, and sharpening weapons. Their tents seemed to be made from animal hide and were scattered about the area. The leader's tent was at the very end, being assumed to be the leader's due to how big and decorated it was. Since neither Kodo or Zaiaku had a exact plan of attack, or any plan for that matter, they decided to do it the old fashion way...which just so happens to be rushing in and attacking. And they did just that. Zaiaku, being much faster and stronger than the men, he easily closed in on a man and grabbed him by his neck, effortlessly holding him up in the air. It was then that with his other hand, he unsheathed his machete and quickly drove it into the man's heart, killing him. Taken aback by the sudden ambush, they did not notice as Kodo lunged on another man, his canines bitting into his neck and easily tearing his throat out. Upon finally regaining their senses, they all charged at the two intruders, some only armed with their fists, and some armed with swords. All in all, they were headstrong on killing the two giants. Of course, this was easier said then done. Three men armed with rusted katanas all charged at Zaiaku. With a simple, long, horizontal slash with his machete, he snapped of their blades in half before doing the same strike on them, killing them. Meanwhile about four of them surrounded Kodo, trying to see if they can make the hyena submit. Of course, this ended badly. The moment one of the men came within pouncing range, Kodo jumped and began to viscious maim man as his three buddies attempted to put Kodo off. Noticing this, Zaiaku sprinted to his friend and quickly dispatched the remaining three with ease, slicing and dicing them while their backs were turned.

With that, only six remained. All unarmed. Showing no mercy to these criminals, Zaiaku quickly went on with attacking them. Not having enough time to react, the men were helpless as the giant slaughtered them. The first one was dispatched easily since Zaiaku swung his blade at the side of his head. He then grabbed the second one by his neck, quickly snapping it before throwing his body at the third, causing him to fall on his back. On the ground, he was then killed by Zaiaku via machete through the neck. The remaining three were killed without any issues, leaving the leader, who was now exiting his tent with four large wolverines. The four beasts quickly charged at the duo, through which case Kodo went and ran to them, using his much larger size to intimidate them and keep then at bay as Zaiaku then threw his machete at the man. The man quickly dodged it before putting a guard up as Zaiaku tackled him to the ground, punching and punching at his arms until he could hear bones cracking. The entire ordeal itself didn't last long, as Zaiaku then went and grabbed the man's head and stuck his thumbs through his eyes, gouging them out before retrieveing his machete and killing, causing the wolverines to disappear with a "poof". With that being out of the way, the duo returned to the caravan to get back to village.
