Hinowagakure no Sato

Otherwise known as the Village Hidden in a Ring of Fire, Hinowagakure sits within the caldera of a long dead volcano. Peppering the lands around the village are smaller active volcanoes that give the region it's tropical temperature and highly fertile volcanic soil. While dangerous, the region is considered a paradise of the world and a tourist mecca; constantly filled with travelers and sightseers that want to experience the unique ecosystems in the wild lands or the medicinal hot springs that make the smaller outlying villages famous.

Land of Waterfalls

The volcanic nature of the region leaves the land rocky and mountainous; and as such the many rivers, springs, and lakes cause in-numerous waterfalls to cover the land. Seeming to appear from the depths of the jungles, the waterfalls cause permanent rainbows at all times of the year, lending credence to the region's title of 'Paradise on Earth'. The far edges of the forests open onto the great Central Plains that border and separate many of the central and southern countries from each other.
