Jutsu Being Trained:

A new day, a new chance to train and learn. After the excitement yesterday, Karu just wanted a day to relax and recenter his mind and body. The easiest way to do that was to train, really. Something simple and easy, something that he could safely work on with Coen around. The baby was sleepy, and was nestled happily in a pile of blankets and pillows in the shade of the big old tree in the backyard of their little apartment house. H had a pile of toys and bottles of chilled juice for when he wanted them and all the time in the world to sleep and rest up after the excitement from before. Yawning lightly, Coen rolled onto his back and began scratching his chest lightly, feet flicking in the air like he was walking slowly. Karu just smiled as he watched him, he was procrastinating a bit at the moment and taking his sweet time setting up the training materials he had. He'd long ago invested in fire-proofing materials for his yard; even though he had plenty of soft grass, he made sure to get special tarps and such that could repel the heat of his flames when he trained at home. That, and he had a special sprinkler system installed that he could trigger with a chakra pulse to put out anything that did get out of control. He never trained anything excessively powerful, nor very hot flames when at home; he wasn't stupid after all; but he did like to train privately sometimes. It would make training Coen easier too; fewer prying eyes, and no awkward questions to interrupt them.

"Coen, you know not to lay like that. You're going to hurt your tail."

"Daaaaddy! Like this waaaay!"

"Don't whine at me. You know better."

Coen whimpered pathetically; it was a little game they played sometimes; Coen would 'misbehave', Karu would tell him to stop, Coen would balk and whine for a bit, and after a while they'd move on to something else for bit until Karu was focused somewhere else, and then Coen would try and sneak up and pounce on him. Strange game, it made no sense in or out of context, but it was their game and that's all that mattered.

"Daddy.~

"Daddy's trying to traaaaain.~"

"Daddy's not doing.~"

"Daddy is being lazy.~"

"Daddy want play?~"

"Laaaaaater.~"

"Maaaaaaaaaaah!~"

"Have. Be it. Nap, sleepy one."

"Mooooooo!"

"You're not a cow, child."

"Daddy smart.~"

"Damn straight. Now, can I train?"

"I sleep now.~ Night night.~"

"Good boy." He rigged one of the larger blankets up to act as a sun shield just in case this training ran long and the shade of the tree shifted too far. Sure, Coen could handle the sun, and it wasn't that warm, but that didn't mean Karu was going to leave him to bake when he was comfortable in the shade. The joey had a few more months of being babied before Karu had to start cracking down after all. One the little shade was set up and Coen was snoring peacefully, he took a few minutes to set up the tarps and other safety measures he had and got to business. This was a seriously easy jutsu, one he'd been meaning to work on for a long time and just never bothered. Ranged attacks in general weren't his style; and his Ninjutsu ability was... not bad, but he could use to work on it. He'd focused so hard on his natural Taijutsu skills that he'd about reached his limits; at least his limits for the moment. Now was time to work on covering his bases, really. So adding some more ranged abilities, some new tricks, stuff like that was in order. He'd start at the bottom and work up. Simple, easy abilities to get himself into the right mindset and a chance to get a handle on the different way chakra flowed through his body when using ninjutsu at range versus Taijutsu enhancing his body.

Yep.

Lets see, the premise of the jutsu was to create a flammable mist that covered a large area. Simple in concept; and not that difficult for a fire chakra user to do. Most early fire training ended up with a lot of smoke and gas bring created before they're able to consistently create flames; so this would basically be taking what he learned in his early days and expanding on it a bit.

So, settle into a comfortable position and just breathe. Simply, breathe. Focus on his breathing, focus on his lungs. Feel his lungs, the air in his lungs. Feel the way the chakra mixed with the air in his lungs. It was a super familiar feeling, and something he was already good at doing. All he needed to do was stop the mixture in his lungs from igniting when exhaled. Which... was a bit easier said than done. His first attempt was just a stream of fire; weak fire, but fire all the same.

Second attempt? Slightly better. Embers, sputtering smoke. Still better. Closer to what he needed.

Try three? Gas for daaaaays. All the gas, for all the days.

It wasn't flammable, though. Wundabah. That was a little too much air, not enough chakra.

5th try was the charm. A thick, easily flammable gas he could produce for hours on end. It went up with the smallest spark, too. Awesome. One down, however many more he could fit in today to go.

Jutsu Being Trained:

He took a short, 5 minutes break to hydrate and make sure Coen was still asleep. He'd only needed about an hour to get his first jutsu down, and while not a long time, he wasn't the type to ignore keeping hydrated during training. Stop every hour or so for some water and a breather, it might seem lazy to some physical specialists; but the system had done him extremely well so far. He knew what worked for him, and that was all that mattered. After taking the time to clear some leafs that had fallen onto Coen, he moved back to the center of his little training area. This jutsu was a tad more the style of the few ranged jutsu he used. Another very simple fire jutsu, but still a Ninjutsu that he didn't have trained to use. This would be quick, simple, and not that hard. He just needed to control the flow of flames so that they didn't get out of control, nor constrict them so hard that they came out as a bullet or a condensed stream. This was about letting fires flow free and easy; abet a weak fire that wasn't meant to damage as much as to surprise or ignite flammable sources for bigger fires.

Settling himself into a standing meditative position, he began in much the same fashion as before; breathing exercises.

Inhale. Focus.

Exhale. Focus.

Inhale. Focus. Feel the air in your throat.

Exhale. Focus. Feel the heated air leave your lungs.

Inhale. Focus on the air in your lungs. Feel the chakra mix into it.

Exhale. Feel the heat. Focus on the heat. Maintain the heat.

Inhale. Deeper. More air.

Exhale. Control the flow. Control the rate. Shape the throat and mouth to control the flames shape.

Inhale. Mix the chakra. Heat the air. Focus on the rate of release.

Exhale. Don't let the fire control you. Control the fire.

Inhale. Deeply. Deeper. More air.

And.

Exhale the flames. More. More fire. Control the fire.

Inhale. As much air as you can. Deeper. Fill your lungs to capacity.

Exhale. That's is. Maintain the flames. Maintain the fire. Hold it. Feel the heat. Feel the way it dances over your lips. Taste the smoky flavor.

Inhale. That's it.

Exhale. No smoke. No ash. Just pure, true fire. Fire and flames. Exhale it all, until there's nothing left.

Inhale. Air and chakra. Make the flames.

Exhale. Fire and flame controlled and focused. A stream, a river, made by you.

Good. That was it. Simple, easy. Nothing to it. He'd spent years training fire using this same method, but he'd never spent the time to control it into a stream. Not like this, anyway. He couldn't even remember why he'd never bothered to learn these simple jutsu before. Maybe he'd just forgotten to bother? Or maybe he'd just never wanted too. The fight against Gajasura had shown him that he'd been a bit of a fool to focus so heavily on melee combat. While he'd never be a solely ranged fighter, getting some mid-range attacks and abilities into his repertoire would make him a more effective fighter and protector. He could be a better student for his Kage, and a better soldier for his village. He'd likely never be as strong as his Sensei, and he would never be the same type of fighter, nor have the same skills; but he could aim to be the best he could be at what he was good at.

Inhale. Focus.

Exhale. Focus.

Inhale. Focus. Feel the air in your throat.

Exhale. Focus. Feel the heated air leave your lungs.

Inhale. Focus on the air in your lungs. Feel the chakra mix into it.

Exhale. Feel the heat. Focus on the heat. Maintain the heat.

Inhale. Deeper. More air.

Exhale. Control the flow. Control the rate. Shape the throat and mouth to control the flames shape.

Inhale. Mix the chakra. Heat the air. Focus on the rate of release.

Exhale. Don't let the fire control you. Control the fire.

Inhale. Deeply. Deeper. More air.

Oh yeah. He had it. A weak skill, but a useful one. Every skill, every jutsu, every ability, no matter how weak or 'useless' was another option in battle. Another chance. Another way to protect. His aim wasn't power. His aim was to protect. To protect, he had to learn. He had to be willing to use anything and everything at his disposal.

This was just another link in the chain to achieving his goals.

"Daddy.~"

"Oh hello, Coen. You sleep well?"

"Yap! Hungry!"

"There's a box of cookies in your bag. Go ahead and eat those."

"Yay!"

Jutsu Being Trained:

Karu went to sit down with Coen while he snacked, he'd made a promise long ago to not let Coen eat alone unless there was absolutely no choice. Karu wasn't the type to break promises; even more so to those he truly cared about. Coen least of all. He'd try his hardest to never break a promise to his 'roo unless there was no other options. This though, this was an easy one. A break to rest and focus before starting another jutsu. It was a smart idea. It as time to just sit and enjoy with Coen. That was all he needed to justify it. There where plenty of cookies to go around anyway; he'd packed enough for both of them to happily munch on. He was craving a bit of juice; even working on simple skills and easy jutsu, he was using energy, and a little sugar in his system would go a long way toward maintaining his energy levels. The cookies weren't sugary balls of dough, either. They where cookies in name more than anything; baked and formed like desert cookies, but meant to be packed full of energy and nutrients. A variation of the berry hardtack that the ninja ate on long missions; only much softer and far more fresh. These he'd made a few days before hand; filled with berries and fruits he'd dried and prepared himself, sweetened lightly with honey and molasses, a special grain flower from the plains making them soft and chewy in a good way. They weren't much to look at, but they were tasty and Coen didn't have much of an eye for culinary pretty factors; so long as it tasted good and was filling, he liked it. Karu was much the same. So long as it tasted good and filled his belly, he was happy with it.

He reached for a cookie and a bottle of the juice he'd put in the pack that wasn't for Coen to have. Coen's juice was freshly squeezed directly from the fruits he was able to consume; Karu's was made from other fruits, some of which Coen could be allergic too. They hadn't started giving him food allergy tests yet; there was a wide variety of foods on the safe list for kangaroo that where easily available in the local markets, so it wasn't that high of a priority. He'd have to have it done fairly soon though, if he was going to start bringing Coen with him on missions outside of the village or the plains. There was no way he could guarantee that the foods he'd have for Coen on long missions would be ones he could be sure where on the list. Even drying and preparing ahead of time, there was no way all missions would go smoothly, and eventually they'd be left scavenging and eating things that wouldn't normally be eaten by a 'roo in places a 'roo had never been. He'd have to know ahead of time what to avoid, what was safe, and a general idea of how to handle it if something happened in the wild.

"Daddy okay?"

"Hm? Oh, yes. I was just thinking. There's lots we have to do, not all of it will be fun. But once we get it done, you'll be set to stay with me forever."

"Forever forever?"

"Yes, dear."

"I do. Stay with Daddy."

That Karu wasn't tearing up over that answer was pure willpower. "Thank you, Coen."

"Love Daddy."

"I love you too, Coen." He plopped a cookie into his mouth and chewed on it for a minute before swallowing. He wasn't super hungry, but for ever one cookie he ate, Coen at three. That made it easier for him to just snack on a few while Coen got a full meal in, and the cookies where made specifically to be able to be eaten that way and still be good for you. After a few minutes of light chat and eating, he was ready to get back to work. "Alright baby, wanna watch Daddy train? Once I finish this one I'll set up to teach you some new tricks."

"Yay! Watch Daddy!"

Karu patted Coen on the head and stood up, moving toward the center of his little training area again. "Stay there, Coen. This trick has a bit of range to it."

The joey was sitting up and focused entirely on Karu, a look of pure joy on his face as he watched Karu work. He loved to watch him train; so long as he didn't go overboard and hurt himself. Then Coen would get super upset and worried and that broke Karu's heart. That was why he was working on the easy stuff right now; stuff that he couldn't possible get hurt working on. Let Coen enjoy himself, learn new stuff, everyone was happy.

Making sure he was far enough away from Coen to be safe,, he slipped into the same meditative pose as before, and started the same mental chanting and breathing exercise.

Inhale. Focus.

Exhale. Focus.

Inhale. Focus. Feel the air in your throat.

Exhale. Focus. Feel the heated air leave your lungs.

Inhale. Focus on the air in your lungs. Feel the chakra mix into it.

Exhale. Feel the heat. Focus on the heat. Maintain the heat.

Inhale. Deeper. More air.

Now was where things changed. Instead of creating a stream, he needed a ball. A tiny, little ball of condensed flames. That part wasn't hard. In fact, it was easier for him; he was used to condensing his chakra for attacks; he did it all the time for his Taijutsu. One of his favorite jutsu focused flames to his fist to boost his power. This was the same idea, sort of. Just, instead of fire to his fists, he was making a ball from his mouth.

Hell, the first attempt gave him exactly what he was going for. A little ball of flames the size of the balls the kids tossed around in the school yards that exploded into a wall of flames at his feet. The fire was hotter than before; this was a more powerful skill than the last two; but this wasn't the end, nor the point of the jutsu. He wasn't trying to make a wall of flames at his feet; he needed to make the wall form in a circle around the point the ball hit.

He went at it like someone trying to make a smoke ring. It was all in controlling how the flame left his mouth, and the shape of his mouth at the time. This was the tricky part. He'd toyed around with making smoke rings in the past; he didn't have to smoke some foul plant to do it; he could create clean smoke easily with an infinitesimal amount of his chakra. He tried this approach first. The first half a dozen times he got the wrong effect; anything from the fire coming out as a ring, or the fireball being the wrong shape, or too big, or whatever.

He finally started to get the ring effect; even if it wasn't quiet right. It creating a wall that spread outward from the point of impact; which while this would seem like splitting hairs, was actually counter productive. The point of the jutsu was to be defensive, not to light everything in it's radius on fire.

It was a start, though.

He changed tactics a bit, instead of doing it all at once, he focused on making the fireball moving in a circle once it hit the ground. That... took about 2 dozen tries and nearly an hour of practice before he could make it happen every time. Once he had that down, it was another dozen or so attempts to combine the two; making the fireball the right shape and size and power, and having it behave the way he wanted when it hit the ground; before he got it right.

That was the only time for another solid hour. This jutsu was all about precision, and that was what he was training. That was what he needed to learn. That was why he'd picked this to work on.

Eventually though, he managed to make it work twice in a row. Then a third time. And a fourth. A few misfires, then he got it again. This went on for a total of another hour, and then he had it down. All in all, he'd spent nearly three hours working on this. Not really that much all things considered; but a good, solid chunk of practice. In that time, Coen had managed to capture and befriend a poor butterfly that got to close. Hell, he'd even figured out that if he poured a little juice out onto a tray, the butterfly would drink it. Lovely.

"Do I need to get a jar for your new friend?"

"I can has?"

"It won't live long if you keep it caged, dear."

"Awww. I let go, then."

"Smart idea, Coen. You ready for your training?"

"I can try now!?"

"Yes dear. Come here, let's teach you how to use your fire like I do."

"YAY!"

Jutsu Being Trained By Coen:

"Alright baby, you remember how I told you about chakra and your inner power, right? The thing that makes you sneeze embers and flames sometimes."

"Yus Daddy."

"Remember how I told you it's the same power I have that lets me make fire?"

"Yus Daddy."

"Well, I promised you I'd teach you how to use that power one day, so now we're going to do it. I'm going to teach you a really simple fire jutsu, one that I use all the time. It's a bread and butter type of jutsu, one that will come in handy enough that you'll find yourself using it a lot. It's called Fire Release: Iron Fist. The basics of the jutsu are simple. You use your inner fire chakra to enhance the power of your fighting by focusing the chakra into your fists. This causes the chakra to erupt from your skin and wrap around you fist like a glove. This glove of flames makes your punches and attacks cause burn damage on top of the normal breaking of bones and gashing of flesh."

"Scary..."

"A bit, if you don't know how to control it. That's what I'm going to teach you; how to control the fire so that it's not dangerous to you or anyone you care about."

"Safe?"

"If you learn what I'm going to teach you, it will be."

"I learn! Want help Daddy!"

"Good, good. Are you ready?"

"Yes Daddy!"

"Let us begin. First off..."

Over the next several hours and long into the afternoon he walked Coen through the basics of Katon chakra control. He kept the lesson as simple and to the point as he could so that Coen could understand what he was saying. It was a damn good thing that Coen's linage was of fire beasts, it meant that he had a natural affinity for and far easier time learning abilities based around fire. He walked him through focusing his chakra to create flames within his body, and to control them so that he would no longer sneeze embers and flames unless he wanted to. He showed him how to breath fire. He showed him how to breath properly so that he didn't pass out from lack of oxygen; that was a problem for inexperienced Katon users, they would pull the oxygen out of their blood with their chakra and end up almost suffocating. Coen soaked this information up like a sponge and then some; the more Karukaya showed him, the more he seemed to instinctively know.

"Very, very good, Coen. I couldn't ask for a better student. Are you ready to try the jutsu?"

"Teach! Teach!"

Oh, new word. Hard word, for him, too. Awesome.

"That's an extra cookie with dinner for the new word."

"Yay! I learn! I learn from Daddy! Teach more?"

Ah, the simple pleasures in life.

"Watch me, dear." Karukaya lifted his right arm up and formed a fist; focusing his chakra slowly so that Coen could see how the air around his fist shimmered and moved in the moments before the flames formed. He let the flames grow until they where hot enough and in enough volume to focus into the right shape. He preferred a form like a boxing glove, it worked best with his fighting style. "Now, this is the way I like to do this. It fits how I fight best, and it's a form that's easy to control and maintain. Your paws are different from my hands; without putting a boxing glove over them you'd have trouble keeping the flames in this form. In your case, you'd want a shape more like a set of claws; that fits your paws better and would work with how you naturally fight. Let's see you try."

"Yes Daddy." Coen lifted his right paw up; he was right handed same as Karukaya was; and stared at it. His expression changed from one of wonder to one of pure focus. His eyes and lips tightened, his tongue stuck out of the side of his mouth, and his entire body turned stiff. He wasn't used to this yet; so while he could manifest flames, it wasn't easy or 'natural' yet in the way that it was for Karukaya. Karu could spit flames for days and make it look easy. Coen had to focus hard and really try to do it even for a few minutes. With time, effort, and practice he'd catch up to Karu's easy of use; but he was young and needed experience.

After a solid minute of effort, the air around Coen's paw began to shimmer much like it had around Karu's hand. Another minute of focus and the air began to ignite into a red hot glow that was hard to see, but there none the less. "That's it. Now give it some juice. Let it have a little more chakra, I mean." Coen nodded and focused on feeding more chakra to the barely there fire, allowing it to grow hotter and easier to see. It was still more a glow than flames; but it was a good start. Coen gasped and his arm fell, with him shifting forward and slumping a bit while panting heavily. He wasn't used to working this hard, and it was taking it's toll on him. He slumped for a few moments before straightening and going right back to it.

This went on for about half an hour before Karukaya finally said something.

"Take a break, Coen. It's alright if you don't get it today."

"Nooooo! I can more!"

"Don't push yourself too hard."

"No! I do!"

"Coen..."

"I DO! I CAN!" As if to prove it, he brought his paw up and clenched his jaw, focusing so hard Karu could swear he could see the veins popping in his muzzle and forehead. After a tense few seconds, solid, real flames all but exploded from Coen's paw; much to both of their surprise. Oh... oh damn.

"What do Daddy!?"

"Focus the flame, Coen! You control them! They don't control you!"

Coen was panicking, but he was still willing to try. With supreme effort on his part, me managed to focus the flames and get them under control, with them slowly taking on a shape more akin to his paw. It was rough, but it was [i]right[/], and that's all that mattered to either of them. He slumped forward again as the flames went out, this time he fell until he hands hit the ground. He was rarely in this position, even though it was 'normal' for kangaroo's to 'walk' and fed in it. Coen had just always copied Karu and moved by hopping while upright. Now he was too tired to hold himself up like that; and that was fine. He rolled onto his side so that he was 'sitting' on his hip like he did sometime, panting heavily and staring at the slightly singed and smoking fur of his right paw. "I... I do good?"

Karu was more focused with getting the first aide kit to treat what was likely mild burns on his paw. Cracking the case open, he retrieved the distilled water, some burn cream, and bandages. Pouring the cool water over the fur, "You did great, Coen. Amazing work. I couldn't be prouder of you." Once the soot and burned fur was washed away, Karu dried the area with a clean towel and began dabbing some of the burn cream onto the area. It was a special cream the medic ninja made; it would numb the area and heal the wounds quickly; Coen would be fully healed by morning. Once the cream was applied, he wiped the excess away and left it to dry out; the cream would absorb into the skin in a minute or so and they could forget about it.

"Better, dear?"

"Yes Daddy. No burn."

"Good, good. I have something for you. A present for getting the jutsu right."

"Present?! Yay!"

Karu reached into his hip pouch and puled out a set of gloves almost identical to his own; only this pair was tailored to fit Coen's paw instead of Karu's hand. It had the right number of 'finger' holes, and the 'thumb' was in the right place for Coen. He took Coen's paws and slipped the gloves on, showing him how the Velcro straps tightened the gloves so that they stayed on his paws. "How do they fit?" Comfortable?

"Love them! I be like Daddy now!"

"I thought you'd like them. They're a matched set. From now on, when I get a new set, you get a new set. Deal?"

"Yay!"

"Awesome. Let's take a break, kay?"

"Snacks?"

"Snacks sound good, baby."

"Yay! Snacks!"

Jutsu Being Trained:

This time they went inside to eat something; it was getting late in the afternoon so the bugs and such would be coming out soon. He didn't want to risk Coen getting chewed on by mosquitoes or whatever else was floating around outside; so him and Coen packed up the blankets and snacks and such from under the tree and brought it all inside. Coen sat down at the little counter top bar that framed part of the apartment's kitchen; Karu had invested in a backless stool that was comfortable for Coen to sit on; and watched him prepare a light meal for them. Coen didn't need to eat much after the cookies from earlier; and Karu wanted to get another jutsu or two down before nightfall, so he didn't want to eat too much. It didn't take long to chop up a nice, simple, salad of fresh greens he'd picked that morning from his little garden and some of the vegetables he'd picked up at the market a few days prior. They'd need to do a market run for more fresh greens and fruits, but that could wait for tomorrow. He chopped in some fruits for Coen's salad, and fished a bit of leftover grilled chicken from the night before last for his own.

He set Coen's plate down in front of him and got a nice cup for juice for him to wash it down with; Coen was all but entirely off the formula now, and while he 'should' be drinking more water overall, he was too fond of the special juice Karu made for him. He'd earned it, so he had a big cup of it for tonight to go with the cup of water he was supposed to have with every meal.

They ate their meal and talked about what they wanted to do for the week; simple conversation, nothing too heavy or complex. It was normal dinner fair for them; Karu would make a joke, Coen would giggle; Karu would tell him about some appointment or something that they had to keep, and Karu would tell him what day of the week it was on. Another of the little games they played; one of the ones with a purpose. By telling him the day of the week, he was teaching Coen just that, the days of the week and how many days where in a month. The kind of information that would come in handy for anyone, and that was the kind of things he'd be learning if he where a human child.

Once they where both finished, Coen collected the dishes and took them to the sink. Another investment, plastic tableware. He was teaching Coen how to wash the dishes and take care of the apartment; not stuff you normally teach a 'pet', but Coen wanted to be just like Karu, so he was teaching him. It did Coen good, too; it gave him a sense of being useful and something to do with his time other than lay around and wait for missions or to leave the house. Coen's paws were a bit clumsy still, even if they where far more dexterous than a normal 'roo's; so the plastic was a safety measure. He could drop them and not break them, so Coen could learn safely. Plus, the plastic was easier to grab overall 'cause it was the textured kind for kids anyway, so even better.

Once the dishes where done and the kitchen was cleaned up, Karu moved into the large multi-functional living area he had. In a normal household it would be an eating area and living room. In his house, it was a play room and dojo in one. Coen's toys where neatly stacked and put away in storage bins and on shelves in one corner, Karu's training gears and such where neatly stacked, packed, or locked away in storage in the other. Currently, the floor was covered in thick mats like those one would have an a acrobatics training area; Karu set those out when he was working on Taijutsu inside the house. One of his mannequins was set up but set off to the side at the moment, and this was where Karu went. He moved it until it was positioned where he wanted it; allowing for maximum working space for the jutsu he had in mind. He had Coen settled down in the little hammock hanging up high in an empty corner; Coen loved to be in it, and it gave him a good view of the room while keeping him safely out of the way.

Once Coen was up there and settled, Karu started his training. First off, a simple choke slam. The concept was simple, anyway. Actually doing one properly so that you hurt them and not yourself was a different story. He worked on his charge first; learning the best way to grab the neck while moving; but not taking the mannequin to the floor. Once he was satisfied with his grab, he worked out the actual flip. The way he figured, he'd use a modified judo flip to do this; flipping the mannequin over his shoulder and throwing it to the ground. He wasn't following through properly for a reason, he was getting used to initiating the throw from the neck without actually shifting through the movements of a judo throw. Once that was settled, he combined the two parts and worked on that for a while; until he was able to charge the mannequin and throw it over his shoulder without any problems. Then he figured out the follow through; that was where a lot of the power of the jutsu was. He'd use the force of the throw, the power of his weight, the target's weight, and gravity in conjunction with each other, and that as the fun part. That took him the longest; the first few times he ended up nearly hurting himself; but he got it fairly quickly.

Once that was done, he moved on to the next jutsu idea. This was... stupidly simple, and he really did not know how he'd never thought to learn it before. It was simply this: lock your hands around a target's face and slam them to the ground so hard that they took damage. He took the movements and skills he'd picked up from the first jutsu and applied them here; focusing the chakra to his hands like he did when he used Prison Lock jutsu and combined it with the throwing from Choke Slam. This was much easier since it was something he already knew how to do combined with something that was fresh in his mind and muscle memory; so it only took him about 20 minutes to get the movements down and set. Easy.

Now that he was done with that, he moved the mannequin over against the wall where the rest of his training gear was and went to get Coen out of his hammock. "Come on baby, that's enough for today. Let's get cleaned up and we can watch some TV before bed."

"Bath! Play?"

"One game."

"Okay! One bath game. I can do."

God he loved his kangababy.
