Marquetta gave the question some though, and while doing so she took another peak at the location only this time slower and in even greater detail. There seemed to be an aweful lot of people in that location, that was true, but there also seemed to be a lot of things she couldn't nessecarily see in detail: meaning they were off the ground or there was something between them and the earth. "Well, I'm not entirely sure how many people are ususally in these dens but there seems to be an aweful lot of slaves. On the map I made I showed the three seperate holding areas; well each one of those contains ten people. There also is that other hidden area off to the east of those holding areas; that contains a single individual. He's pacing, and the room is bare enough compared to the rest to let me know he's a prisoner of some kind. I've never seen him before, though, so I have no idea who he is."

Marquetta fell silent for several seconds and simply kept watching what was going on. After a moment she saw two heavily armed individuals enter into the area and grab the man up, escorting him to another area within the underground passages. "Definitely a prisoner of some kind; he's being escorted to another location by force by two heavily armed guards." Marquetta's head tilted to the side a bit. "I'm not so good at drawing faces like I am blueprints.. but I could give a pretty accuracte description of that prisoner..."

Sephora, being thoughtful as always, reached into her shoulder bag and pulled out a sketchpad and a pencil: she loved to draw and was pretty good at it after yeras and years of practice. "Describe him slowly, and I'll draw what you describe. Maybe we can get an accurate picture of him that way."

Marquetta nodded and the two got to work; Sephora sketching and Marquetta describe in detail what she saw. After a few little adjustments she turned the sketchpad around so that both Kin and Marquetta could see it. "Is this him?", she asked curiously to which Marquetta nodded her head yes. It was then that Sephora looked towards Kin, "Do you recognize him, dear?", she asked, handing the sketch pad over so that he could get a better look if he wanted.

That was making more sense. If they where holding prisoners, they would risk the extra guard. Strange that they'd expect a frontal attack, unless they where worried about someone else. His people didn't use frontal assaults unless they absolutely had to. That many slaves... they must have raided a village recently, then. When the sketch was offered he took it, bringing it close to his eyes so he could focus on the detail. Fennec ears where their best sensory organs, but his eyes where still extremely sharp. Years of focusing on paperwork had given him the ability to block out the world when he was within a certain distance of it, and he was using that skill right now. There where hundreds of important figures stored in his mind, and he had to work over them all to find any sort of match, if he even could.

"Wait..."

He placed the sketch down and dug into his desk; he kept files on village and caravan leaders within reach specially so that he could quickly bone up on them when they randomly appeared at his office to negotiate for things, or whatever reasons they had for appearing. He shuffled around a bit, before he pulled out a folder for a caravan leader and cracked it open. Laying the image within the file beside the sketch, "That's Ossen, alright. By the Gods, I thought the old man retired a decade ago. What's he doing this far from home? You said thirty, at least? That'd be a caravan, alright. If he's being held prisoner, he would have been the leader, or else they wouldn't have known he was valuable at all. Must have wiped out his guards, too; or else there'd be at least a dozen more. That must be why they're being so overly cautious. He'd get a fortune for the information in Ossen's mind, from literally anyone that run cargo through the desert. He's one of the most experienced caravan drivers alive; half my clan's drivers apprenticed under him. This is going to be... fun. We'll need extra teams for this, we can't afford to risk him being killed."

Kin flopped back in his chair, reaching up to pinch the bridge of his nose for a moment before he switched to rubbing his temples with his eyes closed. Stress, weeeeee!~
